Hope Room, a project of helping children in need improve their living and studying conditions, was launched in Qingdao City, East China's Shandong Province, on August 4.
The project aims to build independent living and learning space for children from impoverished families who are aged 8-14 and to provide necessary furniture and school supplies. Tutoring and psychological counseling are also offered to facilitate their healthy growth.
Up till now, six children in Jimo District of the city have benefited from the project.
